First things first, if you have no idea what the Whole30 is, no worries! I got you covered! Check out Hello WHOLE30, where I give you a quick break down of what you need to know.
Remember two months ago when I said Goodbye Whole30, Well I’m back at it again. I decided to do it again because quite honestly, since the beginning of December, I would work out like four to five times a week, but I was eating horribly. I mean like really bad, and my body just felt off in general.
I needed a restart, so why not dial in on my nutrition? I am also partaking in the gymshark66 challenge and one of my goals was to eat clean.
Happy 2020 my loves!
Feels a little weird saying/writing 2020, doesn’t it?
A couple of weeks ago I reflected on my 2019 goals (Ciao 2019|A YEAR IN REVIEW) and also set goals for 2020 (2019|It’s been real, bring on 2020). 2019 was definitely a year where I kind of got to find myself all over again, especially with being a new mom and trying to adjust to my new normal.
I will admit that I had more bad times than good and that’s totally okay, because the things that I went through taught me to hold my head high and go after what the f*** I want … screw what everyone else thinks. I won’t go into details, but just know I’ve had enough and am making some decisions to just make sure things go my way this year.
I definitely reach some goals last year and made some head way, but I want 2020 to really be my year. I don’t want to just say it, but I actually want to take action. So here I am, picking 5 goals out of my list of what 14 that I had to make sure I really hone in on them. Here we go, again ...
It is crazy to believe that there are only four days left in 2019. Time has definitely flown by, I feel like I was just writing my adieu to 2018 and setting my goals for 2019! Now if you follow me faithfully on Instagram, then you know I am a sucker for a fresh start. And being that today is National Goal Writing Day, I took a few moments to reflect on my goals for 2019 (2018|It’s been real, bring on 2019!) so that I can approach 2020 with a better plan, feel free to take a look at my year in review here before you continue on. Well lets go ahead and get into it, my 2020 goals (Ahhh sounds so crazy just saying it, I remember when 2000 like it was yesterday lol) !!!
Saying goodbye to 2019 and reflecting on all the positive things I did.
Wow, my babes is 15 months( 2 weeks ago) and he is definitely one of the most busiest babies that I’ve ever dealt with. For once I can say time felt as though it had slowed down a bit. I feel like his 1st birthday was such a long time ago, but in reality it has only been 3 months.. I don’t know why I feel as if time has slowed down, because I swear there are not enough hours in the day to get things done, whatsoever.
Happy Monday beautiful people and hope your week is off to a great start.
My weekend went from amazing to blah like in 10 seconds I feel like. And for once I am doing what I can do to not stay in a funk. Usually when I get in a funk, I find myself emotionally eating and just staying in the bed, no productivity whatsoever. Last night, I decided to write out a couple of random things that I am grateful for and I immediately felt a breath of fresh air. I went to sleep with a smile on my face, ready to take on the new week. And now that I have a little time to myself this morning, figured I would share with you all today.
So here are the 10 things that I’m grateful for:
Hi friends!! For those of you who follow me on SnapChat, @AdoreSimmy, or Instagram, @BarbelleBeautyy, then you have probably been keeping up with me on my weight loss journey and multiple failed attempts at the Whole30. Last Thursday, I completed my second round of the Whole30 and I am just so happy that it is finally over.
I’ve had such a great experience with this program, but I won’t say that it changed my life. It made a difference, but there were no drastic changes that happened. For the most part, I already watch what I eat, so I just am not big on restricting myself again for another 30 days. I just love food so much that if I want something sweet then I can have it without having to “restart.”. Now in regards to the reintroduction, I did it last Friday & Saturday …. after that I was like whatever, bye. I just came to realize that I really don’t like having rules when it comes to my food.
LOL, sounds as if I’ve been liberated, huh?
F I N A L L Y completed a second round of the Whole30, go ahead guys … round of applause please. LOL, lets take a look into last week.
DAY 22 – DAY 26
You guys have no idea how hard this last week was for me, surprisingly. I was honestly just over it. I was eating the same meals, day in and day out. Which was my doing, because I really didn’t feel like trying anything new. That’s basically why there weren’t any pictures really on this round because it was the same thing, basically every day.
