7 Lessons I learned as a new Mom

7 Lessons I learned as a new Mom

It is still weird to say that I’m a mom. I have moment where I just look at Papa and I’m like you came from me little man. I immediately smile and my heart warms up. Life as mom is crazy. Once I think I have it all together then BAM … toddler hood comes at me full force lol.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything though.

Last night I was thinking about everything I have been through so far with Ash and how I’ve grown that it seems longer than 18 months. I wanted to share the top 7 lessons that I learned from being Ash’s mom and wanted to share it with you guys too

Keeping up with Ash|18 month update

Blessed. I am incredibly blessed and thankful for a healthy, thriving, ball of fire 18 month old! You are literally my sunshine, I don’t know how I would get through life without you. I wish time would slow down, because unlike last time … I feel as though time is rushing past me. It’s like I have plans on what I’m going to do, but the day just passes on like nobody’s business. I feel like it was just yesterday that I took that pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant at work. I remember going to get an ultrasound and already panicking because they couldn’t find you at 5 weeks or maybe it was 8 weeks. I remember laying in bed at night feeling comforted by your kicks and movements since your father was away at work. I remember when I first saw you, you instantly made everything better for me. I’ve never, in my life, known a love like this.

This year has went by so fast. And it has taught me to spend time with my loved ones as much as I can. It has most definitely taught me to enjoy every single moment with you Papa. You are my light, I will love you always. I promise to be the best mother that I can be, and that’ll I’ll be by your side every step of the way. Continue reading “HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ASHRAF”
